I was at the National University of Singapore (NUS) a couple of days ago, conducting a Garageband workshop for the students there.
NUS! OMG!
The moment I stepped into the campus, I was feeling so proud. Not the look-at-me-nose-in-the-air kind of proudness though don't get me wrong. The whole experience is truly humbling. It's not like I was accepted as a student there or anything, but to be able to personally visit a prestigious school (world's top university ranking #30 fyi), and to be able to stand at the auditorium/classroom podium is really a special feeling.
I even bought a NUS shirt just to commemorate my visit there! Felt so much like a tourist. And guess what, they have Mcdonalds, Burger King in the campus... man!

no worries juju~ there's always a next time :) but nothing much to see on the area I'm staying at... :)
