Pangkor Laut Resort

* All images in this entry were captured with my trusty Canon Ixus 30 :)

I was privileged to be at a beach wedding (I love love love beach weddings) last weekend. On the speedboat towards Pangkor Laut Resort, I can't believe that I was surrounded by the sea and breeze. It's been ages since I last breathe in this incredible air. I was literally screaming with joy inside of me.

I wished Boonyee and my feathered friends were there with me though :(

All in all, it was a great experience. I slept by the beach, read a book, doze off some more, sip my banana milkshake like a posh woman by the beach (haha) and doze off to the sound of waves. Life couldn't be better at that moment, seriously.

Erin! Spotted your hammock! I wished you were there...
Ahhh... bliss. I love, love LOVE the beach.

Pangkor Laut Resort is quite a posh place. Why? Because they have peacocks wandering around outside of your chalet patio! Peacocks!!

Oh man... sand... If I could hug the sea and beach I would.
The bride and groom stayed in the luxurious sea chalet.
Other than peacocks, Hornbills can be spotted flying freely within the compound!
I crave for more beach retreats!

Keeli and Kenneth's beach wedding was just beautiful. It was intimate and everything a bride and groom could dream of. Just close friends and families; people who means most to them. When the night started, we were all surprised by the strong sea wind. It was pitch black by that time and seriously, the wind freaked me out. I was so afraid it was Tsunami, no kidding! After a while the wind stopped and the night couldn't have been more perfect. Friends performed exclusively for the couple, everyone giving their well wishes, and the highlight of the night was when the groom surprised the bride with fireworks. Bloody awesome. I was also very moved when the groom talked about his family... nothing beats a close-knit family.

It's a blessing to be a witness of such a beautiful beach wedding :)
